The Aerodynamics Research Center was originally built in 1940 and remodeled in 1986. As of 2008, the facility features 4 large scale and 2 small scale wind tunnels. A separate room has currently been set aside for pulsed detonation engine testing. Other features include a machine shop, an electronics room, office space for 10 students, and a separated compressor building.
